You’ve said it a thousand times. Lately, more than ever before: “I don’t know what to do.”

Sure you do.

We’ve all been there. Analysis paralysis.

You’re facing a decision, weighing the pros & cons, looking at it from all angles.

Do you know what you’re really doing?

Stalling.

You’ve worked yourself up in such a state that you’re afraid to make a move.

Here’s the deal.

While you’re going back and forth about what to do and already figuring out how it won’t work, you’re avoiding moving forward.

And so you get to play it safe.

In the Land Where Dreams Go To Die.

Not a very glamorous place but it’s risk-free. Kinda like the devil you know vs the one you don’t.

I’m not going to talk to you about comfort zones because you already know how that shit works.

Here’s what you need to ask yourself (write this down. Seriously, write them down.):

Why?

Why are you choosing to focus on failure?

How do those thoughts make you feel?

What actions are you taking or avoiding as a result?

Why are you choosing to think those thoughts?

It’s that simple and that complex.

It all starts in your mind.

@@You must learn to manage your thoughts.@@ This is about more than repeating an affirmation you read on IG or Facebook, it’s about understanding why you’re thinking those thoughts in the first place and seeing how those thoughts are affecting your choices.

Once you understand the true origin of your mindset you can wield the power to change it.
